Explore the famous Grande Champagne region with an English speaking local guide, visiting vineyards where the best cognacs are produced.

You visit a traditional barrel factory. The tour is also an opportunity to discover Romanesque churches, typical sceneries of a terroir considered by many as the “French Tuscany”. At a typical restaurant, you have a nice traditional Charentaise lunch prepared with local produces, from starters to Charentaise coffee...

Departure : hotel pickup from 8.45am to 9.15am

Return : hotel by 6.00pm

Visited locations : Grande Champagne vineyards, City of Segonzac

Dress code : casual and comfortable

Number of participants : minimum of 2 people, maximum of 7 people.

Dates :
 Working week days : on request - any period of the year
 Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays : no visit of the barrel factory that is closed.

Price 2008 - 2009 :
 € 180 / person, base 2 or 3 people
 € 140 / person, base 4 to 6 people
 € 130 / person, base 7 people
 Child (below 10 years of age) : free of charge (maximum 1 child)

The price includes :
 Commented visit to a traditional barrel factory (working week days only)
 Visit to 2 wineries producing wine, pineau and single estate cognacs
 Tastings of the wineries’ products
 Lunch (3 course meal, aperitif, wines, Charentaise coffee)
 Transportation and driver/English speaking local guide
 Return transfer from any hotel within 50Km from Segonzac (incl. cities of Jarnac, Cognac, Angoulême, Saintes)
