In a few words...

Drive a classic car, MG roadster or other English car from the 60’s and explore the famous Grande Champagne vineyards. You will be escorted by a local English guide in his own car. Thus you will meet people who maintain tradition in these very discreet vineyards.

Details on the excursion

An English speaking local guide will show you the way from place to place in his own car. During the excursion, the guide will describe the techniques of vine growing, the local architecture, Romanesque churches.

With him, you will visit a garden awarded "Jardin remarquable" by the French ministry of Culture. The garden is surrounding a mansion, formerly own by a famous family from Cognac. Then you will visit a traditional barrel factory (during week days only)

Your local guide will explain typical sceneries of a terroir considered by many as the “French Tuscany”...

By the end of the excursion, you will stop at family estate where the owners will introduce you to their way of living. they will also explain how they prepare products for the next generations.

 Departure : from Segonzac at 9.30am to go an get the classic cars
 Excursion : from 10.00 to 5.00 pm
 Locations visited : Grande Champagne vineyards, City of Segonzac, the Charente river
 Dress code : casual and comfortable

 € 320 by car, 1 or 2 people in the classic car
 Restricted to drivers over 25 years with a valid driver’s license for over 2 years
 Two drivers may be registered by car
 Restricted to passengers over 16 years

 A € 800 security deposit is payable the day of rental.

The price includes
 Rental of a classic car over 20 years
 Fuel costs of the rented vehicle
 Commented visit to a traditional barrel factory (working week days only)
 Visit of a garden awarded "Jardin remarquable"
 Visit of a family estate
 English speaking local guide in his own car

 Lunch (a typical restaurant in the vineyard is suggested by your escort)
